GHG emissions per capita

Methodological background:

The value of the total carbon dioxide equivalent emissions is divided by the average annual population. 

Remarks:

Carbon dioxide equivalent emissions emission figures refer to the submission to the UNFCCC, which is the official benchmark for GHG emissions in Canada.

Annual average population is calculated as the average of the Q1 population estimates in the current and following year.
