Methodological background:

The total annual GDP is divided by the average population. 

Remarks:

GDP figures are expressed in chained (2012) dollars. Canada GDP figures are the sum of the values of all provinces and territories.

Annual average population is calculated as the average of the Q1 population estimates in the current and following year.
